Dale has studied piano since the age of five and guitar since age nine. He holds a degree in music majoring in piano with a trumpet minor although his current and favorite assignment is Lead Guitarist with Big Planet Soul. Dale spent some time on the road with numerous musical acts ranging from tours with gigging rock bands to working in Broadway shows. The adjective “Versatile” comes to mind.

Dale is also widely known for his recording work. He owns and operates a studio that primarily focuses on educational recordings for a variety of publishing firms while continuing to record for ensembles and solo artists. He maintains a strong production and recording relationship with the Appalachian Children's Choir of West Virginia who recently performed at Carnegie Hall.
